Learning Outcomes for Parents
EN3-7C
thinks imaginatively, creatively and interpretively about information, ideas and texts when responding to and composing texts
Lesson Steps:

1) Find the work that you made in the previous lesson. Today you will use both this character and the setting to tell a short story.

2) In a story you need to have an orientation, a complication and a resolution. Do you know what each is? Click here to find out!

3) Now that you are up to speed make a simple storyboard for your story maybe 6 squares long. Use the template to the right as a guide. Write and draw what would happen on each page in each individual box. This will help when you are putting together your book.

4) Now that you have your story outlined start writing the text that will accompany the images you draw. You should limit the number of pages to about 5 so it doesn't become too complicated. So maybe 1 for the orientation, 2 for the complication and then 2 for the resolution.

5) With the text all done start drawing the images to accompany the text. When everything is done take a photo of all your text and drawings and upload the picture to your computer.

6) Open up the Aurasma webpage and select Create New Aura. Now create you AR images like you did in the previous lesson. If you have forgotten how to do that simply refer to the previous lesson.

7) After you have created all the pages click on publish and make sure each page works.

8) If they all work print the trigger images and staple them into a book. You now have create your own AR storybook.
